Cherokee Apartments

I toured two units during my apartment search. I’d say great location and good enough parking. However, the interior of the units looks like poverty. Stained countertops, sliding doors scraps the floor, bathroom not clean or apealing. This Location was at the top of my list however, the photos online are very misleading. The place look nothing like the photos online. I don’t know if they are AI induced. However, I was highly disappointed. I believe you are only paying for location. I’d pay more if they had nicer units. The location is nice.

The staff at Cherokee Apartments were extremely helpful, friendly, and timely in helping move into the community. Neighbors here are friendly, and the environment is serene. I definitely highly recommend living here.

Awesome Cherokee Apt. team; Dana's guidance and dedication made it a smooth transition for us and Rose was available to answer any questions. The maintenace team ensured our townhouse was ready followed by a very nice custodian.

WOULD STAY AWAY! 10% rent increases yearly claiming its the "market rate." Meanwhile, maintenance requests go unanswered, water gets shut off randomly, power shut off without notice, heat doesn't work or can't control. Trees are nice in community, but have seen multiple cars damaged from fallen limbs in designated parking areas. Classic rental corporation not being in touch with its residents in the slightest.

I am a resident of Cherokee Apartments. There are a lot of things I love about this place. The location is perfect and the apartments are nice. The neighborhood feels safe and secluded as it is right next to Wissahickon Valley Park with tons of walking trails. The maintenance team is good and most of my maintenance tickets are resolved within 2-3 days. Unfortunately, the downside is the leasing office. I believe that there are 2 women that work in the office and they are both simply ineffective at their jobs. Any time I have an issue, they take weeks, if not a month+ to solve any problem. I have to call or email 2-4 times to even get a response. They are never rude, but they genuinely never have the answers to any issues or concerns. They say they will follow up and never do.
