Chelsea at Lee Hall

I've been living in the community of Chelsea for about 11 years or so. I never had a single negative experience ever. Great pricing, great location, and great community. The facilities Manager (Shelly) gets a 5 star review from me, as well as her Maintenance Supervisor (Adam). I'm extremely grateful for all of their hard work and dedication that they brought to Chelsea at Lee Hall for the past 11 years and continue to do so. It’s been a little over three years since I lived at this complex. This was my first ever apartment and I enjoyed just having my own affordable space. The pool is lovely, the grounds are fairly well kept. Some utilities in the units need fixed or updated but that wasn’t a huge concern for me. Since I was living on my own, safety was the number one priority. Something that the staff and management should prioritize for their tenants. While living here I was stalked by another tenant. Nothing ever became violent but this man would follow me on walks around the property, wait by my car parking spot, wait for me to get out of my car to flirt with me, asked me out multiple times even after I said no and I’d notified the front desk. He even physically blocked me from getting my laundry from one

ROACHES and more ROAches ! Your car will get flooded and they have pest control come but only makes it worse ! They never answer the phone and no one is there to help with maintenance! I put in a 5 day move in work list and NOTHING has been fixed my sockets don’t work , the tub gets backed up. O and roaches i can’t wait to get out of here ! Don’t move here unless u want to be in the woods with roaches living beside a slave mansion !

I want to thank Chelsea Place team for keeping a very safe and clean environment during the time of my stay i am really going to miss that place. If you looking for a place to live this is the place its 10mins from Yorktown beach 10mins away from Williamsburg and 10mins away from the inner part of the city of Newport News.

This was mine and my husbands first apartment together, we lived here from 2020-2024. We started in a 1 bedroom and then moved to a townhouse once we got a dog. Shelly always made everything easy and was always helpful with any questions or concerns we had. The maintenance team was always timely with the work orders and very kind and friendly!
