Chapel Hill Apartments Madison WI

Where do I even begin......The only decent thing here is the maintenance team and the kid at the front desk. Everything else is a nightmare. The management is absolutely terrible, replying to emails as if they're doing you a favor, if they bother to respond at all. The entire apartment smells horrible, packages have been stolen, and when I reported it, they got defensive and dismissed it. They only care about lining their own pockets and couldn’t care less about tenants. I lived on the ground floor, and the apartment flooded three times since I was on the ground floor and flood happened due to tenants living on the upper floor, ruining the carpet and leaving stains on the ceilings. During move-out, they charged over $900 for cleaning and replacing the carpet, blaming me for a small burn,

I've lived here for 4 years. The location is nice, and the maintenance is very prompt. Good heating in the winter, quiet at night, and low electricity cost. There is not much to complain about. I ruined a small part of the carpet, and they charged me $1200+ when I left. Be careful when you live there; you do not want those surprises.

I have been at Chapel Hill for over 7 years. It might not be the flashiest apartment complex around, but they keep it clean, they have a really nice pool, and the superintendent is 2nd to none when it comes to fixing things - they are both responsive and thorough when it comes to fixing any issues that arise. Chapel Hill management also worked with me when I suddenly went unemployed for a lengthy period of time. They were both understanding and kind during a very difficult period for me. I highly recommend the Chapel Hill Apartments.

The worst apartment ever! Just run if you see this review. The worst landlord and management team. Unreasonable cleaning charge even if you clean the room better than they cleaned on the move-in day lol. Very unfriendly environment to international students. Smelly and super disgusting hallway, laundry, and trash room and they are always and constantly filthy. As long as you can afford another apartment, don't rent this one!!!

I lived at Chapel Hill for almost 16 years. Obviously I liked living there. I was forced out by the large rent increases. It happened throughout the neighborhood, not just Chapel Hill. Market pricing is going to end any , oh its cheaper to move to this complex or another. They will all be the same rent. The great thing about Chapel Hill, is the management team, not the owners, the management team . Ian , Jackie and Carl. helpful, informational, fast maintenance response. I will and do miss them. I would recommend Chapel Hill to everyone who can afford to live there, great place, nice pool, beautiful grounds great neighborhood. ,
