I had a great experience with Gary. My parents house was a odd ball in the area. Meaning the comps in the area did not match the house. The house was bigger and a much larger lot size than the other homes in the area. Out all of the realtors that viewed the house, he was the only one that had that came back with the same price I was thinking about selling the home for. This told me he did his researched on the house. We then found a buyer that drove me up the wall. This where I was truly grateful for Gary. He listen to me went I vented and helped me so much when I got upset over something stupid the buyer would do. I just got off the phone with a gentlemen and it was the most odd experience. I am looking for a 3 bedroom for my family and he is telling me that he would like my documentation and “If I would like to hire him as his realtor” me not understanding fully what that question is I agree. He continues to talk about broker fee and if I am not mistaken it is illegal to charge a brokers fee in NYC. So I ask him if that is illegal and he gets immediately upset and repeats himself saying you “agreed to hire us a a realtor” I felt like his tone and his approach was highly unprofessional of you do not have patience’s to Communicate with people in this business then you shouldn’t be doing this. I was with an agent Everton Welch and if I could put zero stars I would I went to him asking if he could find me a 1 bedroom apartment. Deadline was given to him within the month. He told me he had an apartment available that same day and he would contact me with that one and also if he finds something else. It is well over 4 weeks and I have not heard or received a call back from this agent. He does not pick up calls nor does he call you back!. I went to his office asking and he looked as if he seen a ghost. I had contacted him on another phone number being that he was not picking up my calls and guess what he answered. I worked with Gary Roger and my experience with him was great. I spoke to him on the phone briefly first to explain what i was looking for. Made an appointment a few days later, then started looking at apartments the next day. It only took two weeks to find an apartment which was above my expectations. Gary was professional and thorough. I would refer him to anyone that is looking for an apartment, condo or a home. Also his follow up is very good with paperwork and keeping connected until the entire deal is done.
