When we moved into our house, we were unable to get home inspection prior to closing. We were recommended Jim from Central Real Estate, and we were so grateful we took the advice to reach out to him. Jim was very helpful in giving us peace of mind about our purchase after closing, making sure we knew all the major fixes that needed to be made right (and how to go about doing so), and all the fixes that could be done over time. He left us with a document that broke down all the issues with images, followed by what fixes could be done, and any other advice we should know. Jim was amazing! He was incredibly thorough and explained any repairs that needed to be made (as well as a realistic timeline for when they should be done). Our home won't require any significant repairs, but I had the sense that Jim would remain even-keeled and non-alarmist even if there were. We received a binder for when our inspection notes were returned, including return address labels for our new home and blank printer paper to print the inspection onto. It was a really wonderful experience!

My husband and I loved working with Jim. He was at the house early, surveying the property and taking pictures of everything he saw. He was very friendly, approachable, and knowledgable. He let us know we could follow him throughout the inspection to learn as we go, or get updates whenever we liked. Throughout the inspection he let us know things we should consider, and things that were going well. The report was timely, and very detailed. The communication prior, during, and after has been exceptional. I highly recommend his services.
