Central Iowa Apartments

I rented from Dave Jensen few years ago, very kind, professional ect. My apartment very well maintained. Only issues was electric cooked stove needed fixed and immediately had replaced. I definitely would rent from them again.

Genuinely think that this is one of the worst experience I’ve had with a landlord. 1. We moved in and the place was a mess! Fans didn’t work, patio door didn’t lock (still doesn’t after a year of living there), color on the white doors from the children who lived there previously, toilet broken, washer/dryer were broken. I could go on and on. 2. Our washer started leaking water, not just a little leak the water leaked into the kitchen area and it took maintenance over an hour to get someone to our house and when they came they were NO help. They left a shampooer for my husband and I to soak up the water ourselves. 3. Apparently when you move out you are in change of purchasing paint to paint over the holes? I thought as a renter this is something the property owners were in change of. 4. D

This is the worst apartment company you could rent from stay away. They're overpriced garbage. The first apartment my girlfriend lived in flooded multiple times and they never truly fixed the main reason water got into the apartment. The second apartment we both lived in was horrible the bathroom fan was a clogged mess when we moved in ( even tho they charge everyone that leaves a cleaning fee ) Multiple radiators did not work and they took their sweet time replacing them. The ac which was also trash was covered in mold which once again clearly they don't clean. The bathtub had a bunch of nicks in it we had a lot of issues with the sinks and bathtub draining. Also things they took their sweet time to address. Very happy to finally be out of there.

Rented from them this year and they were great to work with. Management was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. Maintenance did a great job. No issues with animal waste. Our one noise issue while staying was addressed immediately. If you're looking to rent in the area, I'd strongly recommend Central Iowa Apartments.

David and his team are AMAZING. We moved in after having a horrible experience with a previous landlord, and while things needed to be fixed when we first moved in to the townhouse, that David owns, he and his team, did wonders to get those issues squared away. They are great people to work with and a great place to rent from!! We love our house. Thanks again David and Team!
