Cedar Lake Apartments

Beautiful place, well maintained but this place is basically the HOA of apartments. Aren’t allowed to dry your towels outside over your balcony, a friend lived there and had a cooler drying outside & he was told to remove it or it will get removed for him. I’m convinced they have tenants on their payroll to spy on other tenants & their comings/goings & who they have over. Not only is the tenant expected to have a vehicle free of rust but your visitors also cannot have rusty vehicles or they will slap a “threaten to tow notice” on their vehicle window. If your visitor is over a lot, they will accuse you of having them there overnight & ask you to get them put on the lease. Then when you do this, they will run a background check, not only deny them from becoming a tenant but also ban them fr

I’ve lived in a few apartments in different cities and Cedar Lake is by far the nicest, cleanest and attentive. They’re quick to make fixes when needed, and I see their Toonen vehicles out and about every day so I know they’re actually out taking care of their properties and not just collecting rent. Amenities are nice too; the clubhouse is cool and sometimes they put on events. And the fitness center is an added bonus; saves money on a gym membership. I moved here late fall so it was too cold but this summer I’m really excited to take advantage of the lake! You can go swimming, kayaking and I think fishing. Overall a great place to live. I have not had one negative experience here.

Nice for the price. Buildings are showing signs of age, but the given the price, these apartments are great. Plenty of parking and garages are decent. Rooms are a good kind of quirky. Small things like bathroom ventilation are incredibly well designed. Common areas are well maintained and the people who live here seem to be friendly, courteous and take care of the common areas well. Not too far from grocery stores and the university. Lots of fast food and Mexican restaurants nearby. I'm convinced the lake is fake. Its way too blue. Other than that, seems like a great place to live.

I moved to cedar Lake apartments in June of 2017 due my job commitments and initially the plan was to stay temporarily for about a year. I still remember my first day when Tina showed me everything and gave me a tour. Fast forward 4 years and I am still living in the same apartment simply due to the reason that IT FELT LIKE HOME. My apartment was a lake view and it was simply beautiful to sit on my patio at the end of my work day and unwind. Cedar Lake community is very welcoming and warm, I was amazed to find out that some of the tenants have been living there for over 10 years which is a testimony to the caring administration of Cedar Lake. I have lived at Cedar Lake for almost 11 years. I am very pleased to be here. Staff is very friendly and prompt when there are questions or an issue comes up. The neighbors are also very friendly.
