Casa Del Rio Apartments

I had all of the same experiences described by Mark below, except I was charged $75 instead of $50 for the excess cardboard boxes near the trash. I cannot possibly say enough negative things about casa del rio and ATX property management. In every stage of leasing with them, from inquiring about the apartment to moving in to living there to moving out, they were inconsiderate and often outright disrespectful. There were roaches despite the “pest control” fees, they charged $50 when moving out to change a light bulb, the bathroom sink and toilet seat were broken when moving in, they forgot to give me my mailbox key, and for several months, leasing agents would barge in unannounced to give tours. I would recommend literally anywhere else in Austin above this place.

****EDIT**** The only good review of this place is from someone who works at ATX Property Management (LinkedIn photo attached). These people are frauds!! ***** This is the least respectful, most morally bankrupt entity I have rented from in my adult life. ATX Property Management has a comical number of fees hidden in their leases, such as a monthly pest control fee, a “utility administration fee”, and a $15 monthly parking fee, on top of normal utilities. While I was living at Casa del Rio, they also blanket charged every tenant a $50 “trash dumping fee” during move-in because of excess cardboard boxes which people left next to the dumpster. They did not give us any opportunity to remove the cardboard boxes before charging the fee. They assured us that they had “reviewed security foota

Awful place to live. Everything described by Jimmy and Mark is almost the same as what also happened to me while I was living there. Do not stay there!
