My fiance and I recently moved into the community with our dog Max. We found everything to be better than advertised. From the amazing front office team of Mae and Tiffany, down to the dog park. Our apartment is beautiful and could not be more perfect. Especially now that we have settled in and realized the great location of everything in the area.

After 5+ years at Cary Street Station I can gladly say I am gone. Every apartment has it's issues and it's all about how management helps. The management is incompetent, rude, and insulting. My husband's car was towed once (we paid for a parking pass and it was in error) and they did not help. People yelling at the pool all times of night - they didn't help. AC barely working during the heat wave-they didn't help. They are trying to gouge us for more money post move-out. Their break-lease policy is absurd. They make you feel like a criminal in your own home. Oh also - there was once a used feminine item left by the pool and tons of hair in the pool...yuck

My girlfriend’s car was stolen out of our parking lot. Can’t blame them for that but their response has been quite disappointing. CSS said the security footage has been unavailable for a month so they have not shared it with us. CSS have done nothing for us beyond giving us a replacement parking pass, for $50, and we are still waiting on our replacement gym fob and mail room key which will be another $50 each. Given that during the two most recent water issues in Richmond we weren’t even offered a charity bottle of water, I can’t say I’m that surprised with their response to this. Cary Street Station will certainly take your money, I wouldn’t expect much beyond that.

When I first moved in, the apartment was fine. Nothing fancy, but it worked. Unfortunately, things have seriously gone downhill. I've been here for two years. The A/C and heat have been broken off and on for months, and it’s been a constant battle to get consistent temperature control. It’s not just uncomfortable—it’s exhausting having to chase down fixes for something so basic. For the record, my heater was broken for weeks in December, and now the AC unit is also nonfunctional But today crossed a major line. I stepped out of the shower and there was a maintenance person inside my apartment. No call, no text, no email, no knock—just standing there. Absolutely no notice that anyone would be entering. That’s a total invasion of privacy and honestly, it was frightening. To be clear: this

I’ve been at Cary St Station for 4 years (accidentally let my lease renew again), I couldn’t begin to list all the issues with this place but here are some highlights: Notice how many reviews going back YEARS that talk about stolen mail… and it’s still happening. They removed the lock box system so everyone’s packages are just thrown in the hallway. It is supposedly a “secure” building but yet everyone’s stuff gets stolen on the regular. I’ve lost hundreds of dollars in packages and even had my drivers license go “missing” from the mail… office staff never seems to be able to access a camera, same response I got when my car was hit in the parking lot last year. Parking is not a guarantee. what’s included is a parking pass which is basically a lotto ticket for a parking spot. There are wa
