I lived here for 4 days. My key didn't work on move in day. It smelled dirty on move in day and the air conditioner leaked water from above my bed. It smelled like mold. Appliances were filthy and there was dirt all under the appliances. Hallway was filthy and elevator was downright scary. I didn't feel safe at all here. Two cars were broken into in the 4 days I was there. I demanded they release me from my lease and they did. Refunded my deposit in a few days. The whole experience was just awful. Not to mention I had to hire movers twice. I'm in a new rental now in western Shawnee with stainless everything, clean everything and a private garage. Still Green, Still Gross — Weeks Later I posted a review weeks ago about the disgusting, swamp-like condition of the pool here, expecting that maybe public embarrassment would light a fire under management. Spoiler alert: nothing changed. It’s still green. Still murky. Still looks like a science experiment gone wrong. Despite the deck chairs being neatly arranged like everything’s fine, the pool itself is an eyesore — a health hazard, really. Residents pay for amenities, not algae farms. I moved in Carson towers back in 2023 of March with my elderly mother. My reason for choosing this complex is because I felt safe as I went to work and left my mom at home. She felt safe. The 2 bedroom 2 and a 1/2 bath was very spacious for her open kitchen to where she felt comfortable walking around and just making it her own. Now the downfall is sometimes the alarms would go off. But sometimes they have a glitch in it, maybe frozen pipes or whatever it may be, but all in all the people in the office are fantastic. I've never had any issues about getting anything fixed. They're very good about that. There was a certain time they would come into my apartment. Because my mother did not get up early and they respected my wishes. Paulina has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire moving process from day one always available and ready to assist whenever needed. I had one maintenance issue, but Chris came promptly and fixed it right away. I would definitely recommend this place! The beautiful area is an added bonus. 😊
