Carolina Place

Management here is awful. It took a week for them to respond to my complaint, even after leaving texts, emails, and a message with the office. When they finally did, they told me to “just call the police after 11 pm.” They won’t do anything about people parking in the grass, people throwing parties and throwing the alcohol trash all over the parking lot, or neighbors blasting music so loud it shakes things off my shelves. Their excuse? “Nothing is guaranteed in a shared living space,” apparently that includes the ability to be able to sleep in my own home. 🙂 On top of that, “on-site management” is advertised as an amenity, but they’re never here.

I do not live or rent in Carolina Place. On Friday, November 3rd, 2023, I scheduled a physical tour of an apartment at Carolina Place, but the leasing agent never showed up. I arrived at the scheduled time and waited for 23 minutes, but no one ever came to greet me. I tried calling the leasing office, but the call went straight to voicemail. I even spoke to a resident to confirm if this door was the leasing office. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism from Carolina Place. I had taken time out of my day to come to the tour, and I was left waiting without any explanation. I would not recommend Carolina Place to anyone looking for an apartment.

Jennifer is absolutely phenomenal at what she does! She truly goes above and beyond in her job. Not only is she efficient and professional, but she also handles all tenant requests with care and attention to detail. Love Kimberly so much! She’s so sweet and attentive to anything you need. Apartments are very nice and comfortable up to date. Your concerns will definitely be heard as a person and not just a tenant! Overall amazing to deal with and have never felt more at home.

I moved in 10 months ago under the previous management. I asked for a first floor one bedroom when I moved here and they said it was available. I placed my deposit, loaded the truck and moved. When I got here, it was on the 2nd floor!! I was pissed but that was all available. So I'm stuck. The new management has done a good job cleaning up the community, creating a dog park, and communication has been better. They take care of work orders rapidly as they arise. Good place that is normally pretty quiet.
