Cardinal Home Inspection

Nightmare! Read Before Hire! Imagine paying someone $425 to do nothing. That's what I got! Be on location when they inspect! Other wise they won't do their job you paid them for! I didn't have hot water when I moved in, master shower water was reversed, coax cables were shorting on themselves, and almost a dozen boards damaged or missing in the attic(wait, they did find an outlet behind a wall). If this is the quality of work you are looking for, look no further! Waste of money! PS: Don't give me the coax cable story. They are part of the home, and I'm paying you to inspect the home! 2 minute YouTube video and 5 minutes, and I found that every single one was shorting on themselves! Steve did my inspection and was very friendly and professional (on time too). He showed me things I would have never would have thought to look for myself. It was by far the most in-depth inspection I’ve ever had. He also has some incredible tech (gadgets) that I didn’t know existed. Very cool. Thanks for everything!!!

Steve completed our home inspection on our PCB home. He was thorough and helped teach us along the way. We have since moved out of the area and bought several more houses. NONE of the inspections have been as thorough or affordable as Steve with Cardinal Home Inspections. Wish we could afford to have them flown in and inspect each time we buy. Highly recommend!

We have used Cardinal Home Inspections for the past 11 years. He has inspected 3 houses for us and every time has been a great experience. He is honest and professional, and I absolutely trust his inspections 100%. The first time we met, which was also my first house purchase, we had called out several inspectors and none of them could meet our deadline for closing. Our realtor Debbie recommended Cardinal Home Inspections and gave him a call for us. He was booked too, but he rearranged some appts and got us in in time. We have been using him ever since and would never think of another company. They have earned a customer for life.

As a home "inspector" you can find an outlet inside of a wall, but yet can not open one faucet to test for hot water. I had no hot water because the water heater was wired improperly. You inspected my home for a couple hours and could not even open one faucet to see if the water heater worked. Also, I assume your job is to test literally everything and 4 out of the 5 coax cables did not work. Took me 2 mins to find the only 1 was working. Why did I pay you $425 to only inspect 90% of the house? Why did I pay for a home inspection when you clearly did not inspect it very well? PS: I will leave another review if I find more thing wrong. I am sure there will be with this incomplete hack job.
