Someone posted something last night about Capital City Properties and Glenn Friedman. The person claims to be disabled and further claims that Glenn got sued, lost and is refusing to adhere to a court order. My experience with him as my current landlord differs vastly from her post. I would certainly hope for her sake that she is not lying because the Glenn in that post is not the Glenn who's been our landlord for the past five years. He has always been responsive to issues with the plumbing and hot water tank. He takes care of his properties and his tenants. I've seen tenants come and go and not a single one had anything bad to say about him. Our building is very old, built in 1905 and it was, of course, renovated into five separate units after being a single-family home. Accordingly,

Beware to All Tenants Who Currently Or Will Be Renting an Apartment from Capitol city properties!! They are SCAM Company, they will took/steal the tenants Security Desposit when you moving out! I was the victim and i spent alot of money to filed a lawsuit against Glenn Friedman/Capitol city properties in Sept 2023 at Albany Small Court . I won the Court trail on Nov,2023. However, they Disobey to follow the Court judgment and Still Not return back my Security Desposit money!! Shown photo of Albany Small Claim Court Judgment letter as proof. Glenn Friedman knew how to play Scamming game with you, he will give you a Fake/Dishonor Check as return of S.Desposit. He will delay to return your S.D check by blaming post office lost the mail. I liked my apartment and overall the experience was alright - and then they charged me $325 for cleaning fees after I moved out - I can assure you I left the place cleaner than it was when I moved in, and I can't imagine how cleaning a 1 bedroom apartment would cost $325! Disappointing end to what had been a pleasant year.
