Stoicism teaches that integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching. In my experience, this organization consistently falls short of that standard. There is a noticeable gap between what is said publicly and how people — particularly tenant employees — are treated in practice. Decisions appear driven by short-term gain rather than long-term responsibility. Transparency is limited. Accountability is selective. Strength isn’t dominance. Leadership isn’t branding. And character isn’t a slogan on a wall. Marcus Aurelius wrote that we should concern ourselves with being good, not appearing good. I encourage this organization to reflect on that distinction.

Black mold at The Phoenix Apartments in Phoenixville. Reported but never addressed. I asked for a break in termination fees and it got rejected because they seemingly don't care. I will make sure my community in Phoenixville looks elsewhere. I recommend not renting anything under Capano Management

Capano bought the community I lived in and everything immediately went downhill. After moving out I had to go to court (and win) to fight erroneous fees and invalid late charges. Even after winning in court, Capano withheld the judgement from my security deposit. It took multiple conversations with their corporate legal to get the money I was legally owed. Stay away.

I had a pretty decent experience at the Capano property I lived at, but don’t expect to get your security deposit back when you move out. I had a cleaning company come in to clean my apartment after I moved out and the apartment was kept is a very good condition. I was told since my carpet has some areas that are darker in higher traffic areas that they need to replace the 5 year old carpet. The life of the carpet is usually 10 years and they will have it cleaned once you move out. I had asked if they even consulted the carpet cleaning company to see if they could just clean the carpet and I have yet to hear back about this question.
