Canyon Square Townhomes

I think it’s hilarious how this place has so many great reviews. My lease is up at the end of next month. Here’s my experience. We never got a walk through. When we moved in, drains were clogged, nothing was changed out, and nothing was really cleaned. Just new carpet and clean stove. I was so excited about the washer/dryer. Until it keeps clogging, maintenance fixes it and then it happens again. Not to mention it takes 1 full day to dry 1 load. Same with the dishwasher. When I moved in, there was a hole the size of my toddler behind my water heater. That led to 4 months of roaches. We did have weekly pest control but we were told in order to fix the hole, we would have to have the water shut off for 24 hours and have 2 separate companies come out to fix it. I want to give Lori a big shout out for all her patience and kindness assisting me with my whole move in process. She responds quickly and is a truly helpful when it comes to answering any questions I have. So far, I love how quiet the community and how fast and efficient maintenance are. I've lived here for almost 3 years and its a nice neighborhood. The office staff is good and they even do promotions that can save you money on your rent. The grounds are well maintained which is hard to find in this area. My only issues: The management/staff has changed 2 or 3 time since I've moved in which I think caused request or maintenance issues that I have put in to be overlooked. IE I was promised a carpet cleaning when I renewed my lease that never came. I put in a maintenance request because my washing machine would clog on and off which caused it to back up and flood the kitchen. No one ever came out. Safety Issues: The gym is good, but since there are no curtains on the window everyone can see you working out, which is kind of dangerous at night if you are by yourself.

Lori is the biggest, two faced liar. She has no patience and will snap at you at a moment's notice. There is one tenant,some girl who lives in building one close to the pool,who has control of the corporate office.The corporate office and the front office has favorites. That means they will allow some tenants to get away with things that others can't.That is why one apartment can never stay occupied.Their matinince is mostly good,but they do need to work on pest control. That could also be the fault of allowing some tenants to keep their places,a mess.

I have lived here for 4 years and I can honestly say this has been a great place to live and I’m only moving now because we bought a home. Dana the current manager is the sweetest, kindest, and most professional manager I have ever had as a renter. When I call or text the office with a work order she makes sure it’s done right away and even checks in with me after to make sure it was done to my satisfaction. The maintenance also does an excellent job. I give this property and staff 5 stars.
