Customer Reviews
Lease price may be cheap, but the required fees and the astronomical electric bills will make you pay Domain prices. They are slowly renovating apartments and we chose a newly renovated one. However it was mostly paint and countertops. You can see where holes were in the walls and doors and where they didn't replace 30+ year old toilets. The air/heater is probably the most concerning thing, as during the hottest and coldest months we spend over $200 in electrical bills. Add this to the required amenity fee and you're suddenly paying over $1900 to live here for a 2 bedroom. The maintenance team was amazing when we first moved in. And they are still extremely responsive, but the most recent hire the older gentleman was argumentative. Same goes for the leasing team, the African American w
The maintenance team: Alain, Cesar, and Alfredo are strong assets to the Canyon Creek community. The maintenance team did an excellent job once they were able to fully address the outstanding work orders. After move-in, the unit had several unresolved issues and was not move-in ready. When maintenance was properly scheduled and on site, the team worked efficiently and professionally, addressing the items within their scope in a single visit. Their responsiveness, technical skill, and willingness to resolve issues made our apartment feel more like home. They were respectful, communicative, and clearly took pride in their work. I also appreciate the professionalism of Kate and Alex from the office staff in helping coordinate help and follow-up.
We lived there for about a year and a half so far and the staff are very friendly however, I find it hard to get in touch with them as easily as I used to before the texting option. Maintenance is quick on the repairs, but there are times where I feel like due to funding, they aren’t able to do as much as they would want to. All in all, I would recommend this for people who are starting living in apartments for the first time or who want to live close to the Arboretum on a lower cost.
I went in for a tour and I was given every bit of information I needed. The woman working was very kind and helpful as it was my first time ever taking a tour. Nothing seemed to be hidden in terms of fees or potential payments I may have had to pay if I moved forward with them. The apartment I was able to view was very nice with a good amount of space. If you're looking for a place to live I would absolutely recommend looking into Canyon Creek!
Water roaches, water roaches, water roaches. Sorry! No matter what they did they always came back. This place needs to provide pest control inside and outside every week or something. Also my neighbor had a leak and my ceiling got damaged. I thought I could make it home even after the apartment was not what I expected. What they show is not what you get. I had to have my bathroom cleaned, cabinets repainted, faucet replaced, vents cleaned, ant hill sprayed, vertical blinds replaced, sliding down lock repaired, window screen repaired, ice machine fixed, pest spray, all within the first month of moving in. Because of the reoccurring roach/bug issue I rarely stayed there and now I have to pay $2100 on top of my rent to cancel the lease. I feel robbed.
