We made several reasonable requests—including being grandfathered in, replacing the tree with a smaller one, or removing it during the winter—but were completely ignored. Instead, HOA manager over our community advised the board to impose a $100 daily fine starting July 30th. Last week, residents received a revised version of the bylaws regarding landscaping, which now limits residents to planting only a 5-foot bush. Last November a completely new board was elected to our Homeowners Association. Thank goodndess for Angela Williamson our Community Manager. She is knowledgeable, responsive and beyond patient with our endless questions. Thanks to Angela we finally are on track to be the great board that our community deserves.

I initially gave this property management company a good review. The reason for that was. They had taken care of a routine request that actually should’ve already been done as routine maintenance. The subcontractor that did the job, did do a good job, hence CAMS emailed me requesting A review. I was in a thankful & giving mood, but in my haste, I need to correct that. There was a streetlight close to our house that was uncovered and basically was a spotlight into our bedroom. Drapes were not sufficient to keep the room dark. My wife and I contacted CAMS, the city of Raleigh, and Duke Power. For months, we were given the runaround. In May I was told by my HOA board that they would support our efforts if I paid for the light shield. I immediately did that. Despite repeated promises by Duke, nothing was done. Brittany Mosko of CAMS became directly involved, and she began to demand a response from Duke on a weekly basis. She ensured that we were copied on all of the emails. Our HOA has enjoyed working with CAMS as we’ve utilized their services throughout the years. They have comprehensive management tools and systems and our liaison, Angela, is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable!
