absolutely love this place

One of the newer dorms on campus. Mainly attractive for its proximity to the gyms and Quad. Not much else to benefit from living here; currently no coffee shop on the first floor, buses outside never come on time in the evenings, bikes and bike tires often get stolen. Weird situation with the waste or water pipes that stinks up entire bathrooms. Design of the building is not as accessible as it should be because there are no accessible blue door buttons for the third set of doors when entering the building. And some design flaws: the “wind tunnel” when walking through the opening in the middle and the fact that students have to enter and exit the building through one point even though the dorm is technically three buildings.

Excellent design and landscaping. A cutting-edge addition to the diverse amalgam of architecture at the University of Chicago. Not sure if all the residents feel the same, though.

If you're not a student and you can help it,avoid the area. Always frustrating dropping off and picking up a love one from work. It can use some proper development.
