Camelot Apartments

Ok apartment, but both looked good at first. That sad, they have: horrible maintenance (Mr. Tommy is amazing but has NO help), a team that tells you what they think you want to hear when face to face, but then never answers text/calls, and once the new wears off the crap tbey "fixed" starts showing it's face again. Mold (all over the place), leaks, and holes. The list could go on and on. Made promises to my daughter to have things fixed before her baby got here, and this morning she woke up to flooding in her room where her baby sleeps.

I moved out at the end of Dec. and they will not answer the phone or return my emails regarding the security deposit refund. I was informed right before move out that they will charge a non-negotiable cleaning fee of $250 even if we clean but that the rest would be refunded. This was not mentioned prior to move in and is not listed on the lease. I have lived in a few apartment complexes and this is definitely a first. Pet deposit is non-refundable, but was not advised to us when we got our cat over halfway though the lease term. I will update review once we receive a response and/or the remainder of the security deposit refund.

It's a nice humble place! Melanie and Katie are extremely professional and everytime I see them I can tell they're doing their best to help the residents! The maintenance is awesome but they could use some help! The living spaces are comfortable, swimming pool is refreshing, and having a gym that's pretty much always open is convenient. Not to mention the wash/dryer room. Oh and you can have pets! I was thankful for being able to move in with my cat here. It's a nice place. I highly recommend taking advantage of any deals they have going on.

I came to visit my cousin for two weeks cause I wanted to rent a two bedroom apartment here. But let me tell you something. They are very nasty my cousin told me they charge all these fees late fees, pet fees, rent goes up almost 30 dollars a month if you have a pet, roaches and bugs entering in the apartments, but yet all these charges and they can't even keep the premises clean. The garbage just sits there for a very long time. This is not good at all. All these fees they collect and they can't keep the complex clean. I told my cousin that he is better off moving to Wynwood apartments that I went to check them out and they are super clean. EDIT: I was asked to email them in the replies and did so within the hour they responded. I have not heard back. DO NOT MOVE HERE. This was the worst place I chose to live in. The office staff do not care about you, and will actively look annoyed when you come to them with issues regarding your unit. Here's everything that I went through living here: My time living here was rough. The microwave broke and couldn't get replaced until a week and a half later. When it was replaced, it was haphazardly installed. The A/C unit leaked water then broke. Front office lied when they said someone had looked at it. Took another week to get that fixed. When i first moved in, there was minimal water pressure and that took two weeks (ish) to get looked at and fixed. On the other side, The hot water fauce
