CAM Properties

I'm not sure how many properties CAM manages, but they must be totally overwhelmed. Obviously, the Saxony apartments are at the bottom of their priority list. If you put in a maintenance request, they might get to it after a couple of weeks, or they might just completely forget about it. And that's just the Maintenance crew. Then there's the girls at the office. They couldn't care any less if they tried. I know they have to deal with countless residents who are completely unreasonable, so I try not to bother them at all. What a great job they have. They will completely lie to your face and tell you whatever it takes to get you off the phone or out of their office as soon as possible.

this company is terrible. trying to move into a new apartment, but according to CAM properties, i suddenly owe them $3k that they never sent me a letter about, called me about, or emailed me about and its been 2 years since i moved out of said apartment. maria was completely unhelpful by telling me they cant help and i need to figure it out, because they cant accept money for a property they dont own, but now i lost out on an apartment because of their lack of communication for TWO YEARS and a ding on my credit because of them. ive checked all areas of my credit myself, and their claim doesnt show anywhere. they are uncommunicative, unhelpful, and just terrible.

Colter Apartments (3rd Ave & Colter St) My personal experience as a former resident: I dealt with severe and ongoing rodent issues in my apartment for months. Rats chewed through my kitchen ceiling multiple times, leaving large holes and causing serious contamination concerns. I submitted maintenance requests immediately each time. The first request was marked “work completed,” even though no repairs had been done. When I tried contacting the office to get help or clarification, it was extremely difficult to reach anyone who would take responsibility for the situation. Phone calls went unanswered, emails were ignored, and in-person visits often ended with me feeling dismissed or not taken seriously. I do not recommend this apartment company under any circumstances. My experience living here was extremely stressful, uncomfortable, and dehumanizing. We dealt with a severe roach infestation and an AC unit that did not work properly, making our apartment unsafe and unbearable to live in. The roach problem was out of control. I would wake up with roaches crawling on my bed, and I was afraid to turn the lights off because once the lights were off, dozens of roaches would come out — easily 50 or more at a time. Because of this, I often kept the lights on out of fear, which caused my electricity bill to increase.
