Calverton Meadows

I’ve been living at Calverton Meadows for almost 8 months now-and I must say I absolutely love it. The community is peaceful and quiet at night. The services are managed professionally and the people in the main office are fantastic. I did had a chance to use the clubhouse, and the other offerings the community makes available for all their residents. Overall, I have no recommendations at this time. I’m so happy here and I tell everyone I meet the same thing.

Very safe, 55+ community. Many daily activities held at the clubhouse. Manager & assistant are very nice people. Wineries, shops & restaurants are close by and the development is right off Sound Ave and surrounded by farms and wineries; serene setting. Community fees: 1200 Sq ft home property taxes are approximately $3,500 per year Maintenance fees: approx. $675.00 month. Depends on Sq footage, could be less or a little more Includes water, snow removal, grounds maintenance (not your own grass), maintenance of clubhouse, exercise equipment, laundry facilities. (Most homes have their own washer & dryer.) etc. A must see if you like the east end of LI and want to be surrounded by trees, wineries & beaches.

I love the farm stands. Picking up fresh vegetables fresh eggs and the corn is delicious this year. I just feel sorry to people who have to travel home on Sound Avenue with all the traffic. That is got to be very frustrating. And the people are real nice. I was born on Long Island 1950 I liked it a lot better when sound Avenue with miles of potato Farms I'm not into the wineries too much Hollywood

I lived here for 7 months in 2014 and it's a safe area. I never saw anything bad occur. The bus stop is right next to the rental office (and across the street if you're heading towards Hauppauge). I felt safer here than in my native New York City. A great place for seniors to live: clean, comfortable and very close to the Hamptons.

My buddy Kyles Mom used to live there & it's an Old Folks Community so it's cool if your well Old but if you're not they give you a hard time & want you to go. Now that my buddy Kyles Mom is deceased he's preparing to sell her trailer home & leave. Nice place beautiful area but it's definetly for the Old Folks!!!
