Recently I was looking to buy a home in the Callicoon area. I found a place that I was interested in a few miles away. I got in contact with Rosie DeCristofaro, the listing agent and WOW was I glad I did. I have purchased homes in the past with an agent and they always seemed to be just part of the transaction. Rosie is quite different. First of all she is as sweet as can be. But at the same time she does not sugar coat any problems the property might have. She skillfully guided us through the all the twists and turns of the home-buying process, and most importantly, helped keep our purchase moving forward at all times, working with attorneys, bank officers, land surveyors, etc., to make sure deadlines were met and requirements fulfilled. Her advice about the house, the property and the surrounding area was invaluable, and she even took us around to meet some of our new neighbors.
