Cabana Beach Gainesville

It's large.... Disposing trash is a mission. Property Management do their best to keep it nice. Majority of the residents are college students.

The office people are very nice and try very hard, but the actual move in process involves signing about 100 papers on a very slow app, followed by downloading another separate app for your front door, which is also slow and followed by you filling out an inspection that doesn't actually work. The actual apartment is fine, with minor scars from previous tenants, but it is cheap and overall fairly nice. The clubhouse, study area, pool and gym are all nice especially at this price point, and so far my roommates have been very welcoming and nice (which cabana doesn't really control but i thought i would add that for anyone who's not used to having roommates).

Jose did a great job showing us around the complex and all the amenities. He explained all the upgrades and renovations that are taking place too. He answered all of our questions and gave us honest feedback about being a resident himself. The complex was clean and they are pouring a lot of money into renovations and upgrades too. My daughter loved it saying she felt like it was more like home than the others we looked at.

I love Cabana Beach. I have been here for 3 years and any time I have a maintenance issue, they are there within 24 hours. My Air Conditioning broke over 4th of July Weekend and they came the same day and fixed it. When my fridge broke, they brought me a brand new one in 24 hours and same with my dryer...brand new! Marcus, in the office, is fantastic and always makes sure things are taken care of. He is a great guy who goes above and beyond for all the tenants. The new owner is putting 8 million dollars into renovations, painting the buildings, new roofs, new landscaping, upgrading the already awesome pool area, upgrading apartments. Pros: The management staff are very responsive and helpful, and the front desk staff are careful when handling packages. They are very active in organizing community events, although I was too busy to participate in or experience most of them. The complex has its own security team available 24 hours a day. If you have noisy or party-type neighbors, you can call security and they will resolve the issue—I had to do that once. I never had any issues with missing Amazon packages left at the front door. The gym is open 24 hours, which was very convenient since I prefer early-morning workouts. It is well equipped, with three treadmills.
