After my home inspection with BPG I had to get a plumber after two weeks because they didn't check the washer and dryer connections. Brain there said no home inspectors do that without a washer and dryer. Yet I called an other home inspection copy and they said they would have check to make sure it was working and not leaking. They did nothing to help pay for the cost. I would look for an other home inspection company. If you do a job I think it should be done right or warn a person that they were not going to check it. Here is their disclaimer for plumbing: Our inspection of the plumbing system included a visual examination to determine defects, excessive wear, leakage, and general state of repair. Plumbing leaks can be present but not evident in the course of a normal inspection. A sew

Terrible company with disrespectful employees and no responsibility for the mistakes. The house they inspected had issue with the garbage disposer and there was issues with cabinet and some more things and the inspector,Kenneth Myers didn't catch any of these problems with the house. They offer a 90-day warranty for their inspection but it is only on their contract and after we catch different mistakes after inspection, they didn't take care of anything although we had a 90-day warranty on the contract. If you want to buy a house, I strongly recommend you to choose another company for your inspection.

The most incompetence I have ever seen. They inspected my home and there were 40 errors made. I had an electrician, pool expert, and certified plumber come to my home. Some of the funny issues pool heater not working {inspector did not know how to turn on}. Hot tub does not work {wrong, controls are inside of home right beside back door} 3 floor has no hot water {wrong kids nanny has lived in 3rd floor for years and she has hot water} Deck has no supports under post {wrong there are metal supports and cement under each post} multiple errors made on the electrical section {breaker issue, sockets not working, guess what you have to turn the light switch on} and the list is a mile long, I CALLED THEM 2 DIFFERENT TIMES WITH NO RETURN PHONE CALL. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOM

Would not use again even if they were free!! As a first time home buyer we used BPG Inspections, at the recommendation of our agent, to do our home inspection. Inspector Tony Sewell arrived on time and was polite-that's the last nice thing I can say. Mr. Sewell incorrectly told us our house was on public sewer (noted on his report) when it was actually septic tank. We found out the home was on septic when our line backed up into our basement causing us to spend over $3,500. When I notified BPG of this they refused to even give us our money back for the inspection. Brian Eisenman (BPG customer service) replied with "Redfin and Zillow show your home as public sewer." Those websites were incorrect, they do not get paid to come to the house and inspect, and thanks for you calling me a l

The employee that inspected my home while it was still ours was extremely disrespectful to my house. I came home during the inspection to find him in my refrigerator and using it. He left a mess in my hallway after he inspected the attic, turned down our water heater to the lowest setting, and he moved boxes around in the garage (which is fine), but he replaced the boxes so aggressively that some of our items broke. This was extremely frustrating and disheartening. I understand and support that buyers need an inspector to come and check everything, but when you come into a house that does not belong to you, then you need to clean up after yourself and treat the house with respect.
