Butterfield Trails Apartment

Landlord has his workers do the worst patch jobs. My toilet never flushed good even when I called them to fix it how many times. Had barely working heat in negative degree weather and was told that’s how all the apartments were. Charged more money each year with no improvement in his ability to provide a better living experience aka fix things that went wrong as such as heat, my water heater that is shared between four apartments. If you like only 5 minutes of hot water then this is the place for you. I had to call maintenance every 2 weeks because something would break or go wrong even when they “fixed it”. When I complained to the city and mentioned his name, they already knew who I was talking about. Maybe it’s just me but if the city knows you and not in a good way that’s crazy. comed

Worst apartment building I ever lived in!!!! I would rather be homeless popcorn ceiling lead in the water so don’t drink it. shower and water gets cold in 5 minutes and pretty often the hot water keeps on not working landlord is rude unprofessional and cares more about money then the complex and his tenants this place is a waste of money renting if your looking to move here DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend Butterfield trail apartments. Very nice apartments. Only issue we had ONCE was the closet door but we let management know and door was fixed the next day 👌🏼. We rented out a two bedroom apartment on the second floor and we never had any issues. Rent was very affordable. The outside looks old but the inside was very spacious and clean. The washer and dryer is outside in the back they provide you with a key for that building. If its your first time renting out a place i would recommend living here. Our apartment was all electric and water And garbage was included. Ill post pictures in another review

ATTENTION RENTERS: Be very aware and take extreme caution regarding Butterfield Trails apartment complex in North Aurora. ** the ceilings are popcorn -style ceilings, they are made of ASBESTOS. The buildings were built In 1969, it was not until 1973 that they banned, the use of asbestos applications in buildings. When you put a hole in the ceiling or if there is roof damage causing ceiling issues, you will be Exposed to this asbestos, that is in these buildings at Butterfield Trail’s apartments in North Aurora. The landlord, owner, and manager does not communicate this vital information with possible tenants or renters.

We lived there for 10 years since 2011 until 2021. Great place for first time renters.
