Build on Your Land

We recently visited one of the model homes from Build On Your Land, and we were extremely impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to answer all of our questions. Although Build On Your Land isn’t a custom builder, we were pleasantly surprised by the wide range of floor plans, exterior styles, and interior finish options available. They do a fantastic job offering flexibility within their designs, which makes it easy to personalize the home to fit your lifestyle without the overwhelming process of a fully custom build. I wanted to make this post, to say I absolutely love my new home. We moved to Aiken last year for work. We looked at homes for sale in the area and couldn't find anything we liked, so we decided to purchase property and build our dream home . I went to build on your land in Aiken and fell in love with the Summerfield farmhouse plan, we chose the options we wanted. And 8 months later we were moving in! Awesome experience. I hate making this review, but I need to. Be cautious with working with Build On Your Land (BOYL) in Aiken, SC. Due to a failure to communicate effectively by our mortgage loan representative. Land that we were acquiring fell through. For some reason, BOYL began the building preparation process before the land was even acquired. So, the deposit we put down to build a home was taken by this builder and additional charges were attempted to be charged to us. We kept the builder representative abreast of all matters pertaining to the purchase of the land, the status of selling our home, and the loan approval process. We do not understand the need to rush and put the cart before the horse here, but BOYL did so and now we're being charged for their miss steps. We wanted to still have our home bu

Working with BuildonYourLand has been a wonderful experience. This company has so much integrity. With every step in the process they have gone above and beyond our expectations. They keep their word and are quick to make things right. We love our floor plan. We’ve been in our house for one year and are enjoying it so much.
