This stuff that yall are doing where only looking at offers on one day is terrible. Why not just accept offers as they come in and if the seller likes it, accept it? If not, counter. I wonder if sellers realize what they are signing. We offered asking price in cash but the scam the realtors are running cost their client. Ended up purchasing from a for sale by owner over asking.

Signed a contract 6/13, had inspection scheduled by 6/19 to occur on the following Tuesday, 6/23. Two days later terminated the contract based on the inspection report. We were asked to share our reasons and the inspection report with the sellers, which we were happy to do. We did not receive the processing paperwork until 7/9. OK maybe the 4th of July caused some delay but the realtors office prepared the electronic forms July 2nd. We returned the electronic "release" the day it arrived, July 9th. Now, more than two weeks later, we have still not received a check for our $2,000 security deposit. We're not too happy with the listing agent or the BNA office staff.
