Buffalo at Desert Shores Apartments

I have lived here for 2 years now and I love it! Love the management here and my unsung hero Ricardo who takes care of anything needing to be fixed or to help me at 11pm at night when my keylock died. Sure there has been times when we had disturbance in the pool area or people smoking where they aren't supposed to but I don't blame the staff there. Its just people being rude and honestly not listening to what their leases or the terms say. But everytime ive had an issue the staff have been amazing. I love the safety and the luxury or our apartment. Thank you to the staff and everyone for being amazing.

I moved in when the apartments were Ely By Elysian and they were nice at the beginning, but once a different property management company took over it quickly went downhill but rent kept going up. The pool was closed due to “maintenance issues” for weeks at a time almost every summer. The coffee machine is constantly broken. The doors to get into the building are also constantly broken, and they removed certain amenities like the call box at the door and remove most of the furniture from the courtyard but raised the amenity fee. I ended up moving out because I found a house down the street that was cheaper than the apartment. Before I moved out, I cleaned out the apartment, even asked the maintenance guy for some paint to touchup the walls, had the carpets cleaned and yet they’re trying to

Tamira in the front office is so helpful, any time I have question/concerns - she goes above and beyond for me. Brandon is also very helpful and friendly. The maintenance team here is kind & responds quickly. I have been here 2 years as of March 2026 & I decided to stay another year. There has been many changes since moving in, but I truly believe they finally have the right office staff to make this property even better. :)

Do Not Move Here I moved into this property in May 2023, and the experience was a nightmare from the very beginning. Within my first month, someone from the management office turned off my electricity without my authorization. When I contacted NV Energy, they confirmed the request came from the leasing office and that the account had somehow been placed in the apartment’s name. I was then charged an additional $50 vacant fee for something I did not initiate. Management took zero accountability. The call boxes and key fobs consistently did not work. During my time there, the property went through a name change and three different managers none of whom improved conditions. Communication was poor across the board. The property itself was constantly dirty. There was dog waste and trash lef

I just want to start by saying I have been touring several apartments for the past two weeks. Friday, I walked into the office closer to closing, to inquire about making an appointment because it was close to closing. Ms. Tamira acknowledged me immediately, and was nothing short of exceedingly accommodating and kind. She hands down has the most exceptional customer service I have ever received searching for a new place. She was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. When my 6 year old daughter got in the car she even commented on how nice Ms. Tamira was. I say these things to say, Tamira is an asset and incredible representation of your company. My visit to the property was a 10/10 experience.
