I have never met anyone more unfit for her job than Celsa Vasquez. The only way to get maintenance requests even looked at is to call and when I did, Celsa went off on an insane tangent about how we should be putting our requests into the portal. Right, because last time when I put a request into the portal to fix my bathroom ceiling which was leaking wastewater from the toilet upstairs, I received ZERO response. I had to call at least five times for anyone to even care. I had to CHASE them down to get bare minimum habitable living conditions. Celsa does not care about your living conditions even if they are hazardous, and she will yell at you like it's your fault while ignoring the shit actively dripping from your ceiling. would give zero stars if I could. Maintenance requests are ignored unless you call them a million times and they are incredibly rude. My ceiling was leaking wastewater from the upstairs toilet. I had to call way too many times to get this issue addressed and when I asked them to fix it asap because it was a biohazard, she said that "that's not how it works". So apparently the way it works is to allow tenants to live in inhabitable conditions despite the rent they have us pay. We also recently called them to fix our fridge because it wouldn't stay closed and our milk was going bad. They came after MONTHS and broke the fridge entirely so now it doesn't close at all and ALL our food is going bad. When I called them, they told me someone would come but of course, nobody came. Highly recommend! Living in Brusco Bldg for 9 years now & love their dedication to tenants and familial approach. A small, family-run company that is hands-on. I truly have had only positive experiences living here - the rents are reasonable, locations phenomenal and apts spacious and well-run. It's a great place to call home. I really feel taken care of here. Quintessential upper west side living!!!

I am really not the type of person who usually supports landlords or property management companies, but Brusco is probably the most reasonable property manager for a place I've rented in NYC or elsewhere. When I've had issues, they pick up the phone or call you back right away and more often than not, the issue is resolved within the week, or sooner for urgent things. Michael is easy to reach and very professional. They have a network of contractors that has done quality work in the past. They have also been reasonable in our rent - they negotiated fairly in 2021 during the pandemic, and they kept the increase reasonable in 2022 when many landlords were raising the rent 20%+. I lived in a Westside Management Corp. apartment for the past two years until I moved out of the area. Despite all of the negative reviews my experience was quite different so I wanted to share and add some perspective. The apartment I rented was a bit dated but nothing out of the ordinary in NYC. As with any older apartment, there were occasional issues with things like plumbing and appliances but they were always dealt with in a timely manner. I would give a call to Afrim and he would quickly schedule a time to come fix or replace whatever was having issues. We also were returned our security deposit (full two months since we had a dog) within two weeks of our lease ending without having to do any pushing.
