Broxton Bay Apartments

I moved into Broxton Bay on July 1st, and my experience has been very disappointing so far. In the beginning Taylor informed me that I wasn’t able to preview my unit beforehand which was weird because every apartment lets you view the place before you get the keys!— which was partly on me because I was anxious to move in quickly— but the apartment was FILTHY when I arrived. There was no cabinet, dents and scratches on the doors and refrigerator, and the toilet was stocked up so bad I HAD to call maintenance on my first night moved in…. it did not look like a “luxury” apartment at all. (They knew I was moving in & still didn’t care to clean up the place) -probably why they wouldn’t let me view it beforehand & that’s misleading / false advertising!!! I don't normally leave reviews but Broxton Bay is amazing. As someone who works from home this community is perfect. The gym has way more equipment than 99% of community gyms I've been in, and management is great I'd like to specifically shout out Cheyenne who's been super helpful through everything. Plus the views here are great would highly recommend getting a lake view so worth it. Everything you need is within walking distance if you work from home may not even need a car.

Our experience living here was the worst living experience. We've lived in a place where there was break ins and active shootings so it is saying something. When we moved in the apartment smelled like wet dog and was not cleaned - even though you will be charged a $260 cleaning fee when you move out (even if you clean). We had horrible neighbors above us who let their children run and scream at all hours day and night. I brought this up to management on several occasions and always got "we will handle it" but nothing ever changed. There was constantly duck poop in all the hallways right when you stepped out your front door and dog poop all over the complex. This apartment complex used to be great when Kurt was there. Ever since then, management has changed hands, always new office staff. Lucky if you can get through to the office if you call. The property is not maintained. Gates are always broken, the breezeways are filthy, trash everywhere. They want to charge you for trash violations or other fees but yet don’t maintain like outlined. Mold was in my unit, ac problems never got fixed, dishwasher was replaced and not installed properly. Not to mention maintenance lost my key and I had to get my unit rekeyed and the office claimed they never had a copy. This is definitely not luxury at all. Everything is always broken or dirty. I stopped by this morning for a walk in tour. Taylor was amazing very cheerful and wasted no time in Showing me around the amazing community. She is very knowledgeable about the property and answered all questions I had. Kevin the property manager was very helpful. Jaleen the assistant manager was also very cheerful and welcoming. Can’t wait to start my move in process.
