Brownstone Management

Slumlords! They charge high maintenance and they denied us legal heat now for 3 years. They screw folks so they can get bonuses and raises. I used to love my place and they made us hate them and our place.

Brownstone provides some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Repairs and emergencies took weeks or months to address, if they were ever addressed at all. Our apartment, including the front and backyards, were in such terrible states of disarray — including cigarette butts, rotting leaves and garbage such as used feminine products and dirty diapers — that the city government constantly fined our building owners for disrepair and failing to keep the sidewalk clean. If your building owner hires Brownstone, BEWARE.

Good luck getting someone to return your calls or email. The laundry VTM machine took my money without crediting my laundry card. I am trying to get a refund but it has been two weeks and this management company has ignored 2 calls and 3 emails. Also, they hide behind a messaging service with a 10 minute wait time.

Greg Doyley, the manager of the building I live in on Sterling Pl. has been very receptive and responsive to all matters concerning building problems. He is personable, smart, energetic and willing to accommodate. Greg is by far the best manager Brownstone ever had. .
