Brookwood Village

We recently moved into Brookwood Apartments, and while the overall process was very lengthy, I do want to say the staff was very helpful during the walkthrough and communication process. However, when we received the keys and did our inspection, we found several issues that were disappointing. There was food on the walls, holes from nails and thumbtacks, dents in the front door, filthy baseboards, and dirty return vents on both the ceiling and wall. This was especially upsetting considering there is a cleaning fee and a paint touch-up fee charged prior to move-in, and it did not appear that either had been completed before we arrived. So my review from earlier was taken down. I guess the office didn't like it. But they have created an accessibility issue right outside my apartment. It's been like this since 8/25/25. I am still in physical therapy post surgery and the office just expects me to live with this until they decide to fix it.

Was thinking about moving here but the woman in the office was so rude I changed my mind. Forgot her name but the Hispanic girl in the office was extremely rude during our entire tour and made me look elsewhere. I am also Hispanic so this has nothing to do with race. First off, we walked in for our scheduled tour and she had an attitude right off the bat as if me and my son were ruining her day. Then the entire tour she did nothing but roll her eyes, stomp around, and walk/drive ahead of us before we could even follow her!!!!!!!!!. Me and my 2 year old son literally had to drive around looking for her because she couldn’t even be bothered to wait until we got in our car before driving off. This place is amazing. I know you hear this all the time about places, but my experience with Brittany at Brookwood was so professional, so easy going and the way they conduct business takes away any stress of getting into an apartment. I recommend anyone who is looking for a new place for you or your adult child, i’d encourage you to check out Brookwood Village. Go ask for Brittany and tell her Tyrone sent you.

If I could give negative stars I would for us and everyone else who’s been raw dogged by this apartment complex and staff. Here’s how the story starts: Young couple early 20’s with a baby on the way. Move into this apartment complex there for 3ish months smoothly. Then disaster strikes. Upstairs Nieghbor flushed a diaper in the toilet completely backed up the toilets and flooded our entire apartment in sewage water 2-3 inches deep for over 24 hours. The problem wasn’t solved till around hour 38. Maintenance was called at least 20 times while the issue was ongoing the first maintenance guy didn’t show up for over 4 hours. Ruined all of our furniture, my pregnant wife couldn’t leave the bedroom due to the smell and mold build up on the baseboards and walls that were already rotting away. Cou
