I can’t say enough good things about Brooklyn Property Managers and Michael. Michael is truly one of a kind. They don’t make them like him anymore. This was not an easy sale. I was out of state, emotionally overwhelmed, and unable to be present to oversee the process. I didn’t even meet Michael in person until the day of closing — yet he handled everything with honesty, reliability, care, and unwavering professionalism. He could have taken shortcuts or approached the situation differently given the neighborhood and circumstances, but he never did. Michael was patient, kind, and incredibly fair. I wish I could leave no stars. Shawn is the worst property manager I have ever dealt with in all the time I’ve lived in New York, and that is saying something. Concerns are dismissed and ignored, despite the fact that I pay my rent on time every month. Guess they don’t care about keeping good tenants. Embarrassed for the landlords that this is who they trust to care for their building. Literally nothing positive to say.

Our 10-unit condo hired BPM to help organize our finances, our vendors, and to oversee a large and complicated water-intrusion problem. Our prior company had let us down--they dropped the ball entirely on our bills--but we were in no position to spend a ton of money on a different company. We were looking for a small-ish outfit of people who would be hands on, responsive, and affordable. BPM fit the bill. Right away they came in and helped us secure the right vendor for the repair work to stop our leak; they oversaw the work and interfaced between us and the vendor; and they helped us ensure the project stayed on track and kept to our timeline. Michael and the team at Brooklyn Property Management are great! Fast responses, and they care about their clients. You can actually trust them! I did not have any issues with the apartment, and when the time to move out came it was a breeze. Highly recommend this company.

After venting my frustrations to Trust Management, the owner changed companies to Brooklyn Property Management. I let them know since December the SAME ISSUES had NEVER been corrected. Then I come home today and HOW is there dirt all in the entrance of my apartment? And the hallway? Absolutely nothing has been fixed. Let HPD continue to fine them. List of complaints: No smoke detector. No carbon monoxide detector. Floor uneven, scratched up,missing chunks of wood. Random scuff marks and scratches throughout the apartment Mold Dryer vent not attached to venting hose so hot air pours into my apartment Door to back patio doesn't lock.
