Brockton Apartments & Townhomes

With the most recent issue with my kitchen plumbing, Brockton Maintenance showed up and came through for me when the plumbing vendor did not. Kudos to Anthony for continually showing up with his shop vac even at midnight, always professional and courteous. Also kudos to Corey as well for also showing up for the same plumbing issues in the past, he too always professional and courteous. Overall, positive changes ongoing at Brockton are noticed and appreciated.

Positive experience from start to finish. I was in a situation where I needed to move into this apartment quickly, and was able to do so with ease. I then learned that my family was sick, and had to move before my lease ended. They worked with me the whole time, and were kind enough to waive some fees for me to be able to do so. I really love the property, how quiet it is. And being on the 1st floor, I never had a problem with upstairs neighbors; which is rare to find!! Thank you for being so wonderful during my Indianapolis experience! The Brockton team is amazing!

Move in was great. Devon has been a big help. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The apartment was in good condition when I moved in and all issues that I found on my walk thru were addressed promptly.

I love my apartment, however, the laundry situation is absolutely atrocious and I honestly can’t believe it’s legal to require people to walk into what looks like an abandoned storage unit to pay 5$ to use a single washer and single dryer shared between 12 APARTMENTS and when they’re broken don’t go to the leasing office bc they will tell you it’s not their problem lmao. It honestly feels like a safety concern none of the doors lock it’s just rough. With all of that said giving this place 3 stars seems appropriate because my apartment is adorable and I have good lighting and a balcony. There’s also a ton of old trees and the grounds are pretty. Just wouldn’t recommend moving in if you’re used to in unit laundry bc you will be in for a rude awakening.

Overall I really liked living at Brockton. The apartments are old but quaint, the grounds are beautiful, and it is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. However, the people at the leasing office were extremely difficult to deal with. I was often calling to get unnecessary charges removed form my bill, such as mistakenly doubling my pet rent. I moved out in July, and three months later I got an $80 electricity bill with dates listed after I moved out. When I called the leasing office they removed the charge saying it was billed by accident, but I find it hard to believe that they accidentally printed out and mailed me an $80 bill. Maintenance was also very slow, my dishwasher was broken for over two months, and there were several signs over those two months that maintenance had been entering my ap
