Awful. Worst apartment complex I have ever stayed in. It is nearly month three of trying to get rent reimbursed for the month where we had no hot water and my apartment was constantly being flooded due to the broken water heater above my unit. I have read over both my lease and renters rights handbook, and what happened in my apartment absolutely falls under the warranty of uninhabitable category from December 12th until January 5th. Again, we didn’t have hot water for a MONTH, and during that month our landlord repeatedly emailed us falsely claiming they had fixed the water. Living here was AWFUL. The property is filthy, unsafe, and completely neglected. Cockroaches, bed bugs, and mice are everywhere. Easily the worst place I’ve ever lived. My neighbors, who have small children who endured bed bud bites all over their body were promised a new unit, only for it to be given to a new tenant. Once you sign, they DO NOT care about you. Homeless people break into the buildings to sleep in laundry rooms and use garbage areas as changing spaces. The key fob system barely works, doors stay broken, and the door handles that were ripped off months ago by intruders were replaced by small metal grips. Maintenance is useless. Requests are ignored. Things were fine until Silvia showed up. When she got here our rent went from 1350ish, to 1450ish. Now everytime we complain of cockroaches, our rent seems to increase. I heard rumor 4 star reality is selling property. Would be good for them to fire Silvia Instead. Property is good, Rudy in office is absolutely amazing, but Silvia seems to think she can trump the constitution, and lease agreements. Threatened to evict us over a sign in our window that we placed after someone tried to break in, yet refuses to evict someone who aimed a revolver at me. She needs to go. Literally uninhabitable. From December 12th until January 5th we had no hot water. Something was wrong with the boiler above our unit, and in addition to having no hot water, the boiler ended up flooding our apartment. For days water poured down from the ceiling, literally breaking open the ceiling and flooding our closet, our bathroom, and our hallway. The office was useless during this time, never bringing big enough buckets to stop the flow of water and only bringing over their own towels after I told them all of ours had been drenched and there was nothing left I could do.
