I really wish I would have done more research before moving into this place. Less than a year and maintenance has been in my unit so much I am about to claim them on my taxes. I have mold which is going to be the death of me and the rental office has employees that don’t seem to care. I’ve not spoken with corporate yet but I will attempt to speak with them before getting my lawyer involved. This has been ongoing stress.
I applied to Spring Parc Apartments and was initially quoted a price of around $1,380 for a unit. After confirming this price over the phone, I paid the application fee, security deposit, and background check. For over a week, I repeatedly called the leasing office to follow up on my application but received no updates, only to be told to wait 48 hours each time. After days of no communication, I visited the office in person, and was told I was approved but needed to wait for manager approval. Despite assurances, I never received any follow-up. Eventually, I was told by the manager that the price was incorrect due to a "glitch" on their website and that the actual price was $1,711—a significant increase from what I had applied for. These guy's managed the rental that I stayed at for 2 years and every interaction with them was painful. I found many of our conversations with one another to be very unprofessional. The owner has made inappropriate comments to me and was confrontational at times when I disagreed with him. I also found them to be downright shady between instances of them constantly pressuring for last minute home visits without 24 hour notice and pushing us to repair damages that were left by previous tenants. The following month after my lease ended, they even charged me for another months rent that I was forced to issue a stop payment on with my bank. I wish I could add 00000 stars oh my goodness I was at work with one of my friends who rents a place and she asked then a simple question and DAVEEEEE was being so rude I felt embarrassed. He spoke to my friend like a little child and was screaming at her telling her to be quiet, like who speaks to their tenants like that? Such a disappointment, it’s so unfortunate she can’t break her lease because NO ONE should live here if they don’t have the common courtesy and not be rude. He literally was so nonchalant and didn’t even solve her problems! Dave really needs to do better!!!!
