Being new to Richmond, I've heard horror stories about various property management agents agencies and how they disregard the well being of tenants. That is NOT my experience with Brick Road. We moved into a flat in a historic area, meaning it is quite old. The previous management company did a very poor job at maintaining the units, and Brick Road has made a lot of improvements since taking over. Nonetheless, the units still have issues from age and poor previous management. Luckily, Brick Road has been extremely supportive in addressing issues as they arise. Their ticket management platform is efficient, but the real star of the show is Sam, who is very communicative and cares about the tenants. I’d like to commend Sam and Tyler for their professionalism and responsiveness! A pipe burst under my unit after 8pm, and thanks to these two, I was able to have water restored before 11pm that same night. Both employees were friendly and respectful, and successfully averted a potential crisis!

When the Richmond 'Ice-pocalypse' struck recently, Sam jumped straight into damage control mode. He was the Oracle of the operation, fielding emergency calls and summoning his vendor team like he was calling in the Avengers. His coordination was the only thing standing between my building and a serious repair bill. Meanwhile, Tyler—who I’m now convinced has secret frost-resistant superpowers—was the hero on the ground. When the street water main was lost under a thick sheet of ice, Tyler didn't back down. He went full Spider-Man, found a way into the frozen crawlspace, and manually shut off the water

Where to start? The other tenant in my bdlg and I were concerned when our landlord turned us over to Brick Road this past summer. Now we’re blown away by the outstanding partnership it’s turned out to be for us. Sam Bartell and his outstanding team of maintenance pros (804 😉 We see you Sirs) have made substantial improvements. The back of our building now looks stellar. We both have new windows (that were rotting out), the building has a new roof seal, and the hvac is finally fixed (and we moved in in 23). They also attacked the railings on our porch that wouldnt hold a flea if it stumbled. I’ve referred fellow friends seeking to be tenants and friends who are landlords for their services.
