Brazil Heights

My son moved out at the beginning of August and his security deposit has not been returned. Calling and texting Joe does no good ~ I’m being completely ghosted. New tenants are in the apartment now so he has both security deposits. Will apparently need to get a lawyer involved

I enjoyed living here!! I lived at the Brazil heights for a year. I would have stayed longer if I could. As a student it was very convenient to Cal Poly SLO walking wise or bus route. In terms of the apartment, manager (grant) and maintenence are always ready to assist. The apartments ( or at least mine) was well kept and in good condition. In terms of maintenance, they are super quick to respond. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a clean and nearby place to campus. It is gated so that is a plus for security. I am going to miss this place!

I have been a tenant here for a year and a half now, almost two years and we love these apartments. There are restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. On-site management is awesome, friendly and quick to assist with any issues (which are rare) Clean and affordable laundry rooms. New security Gate. Overall great apartments for students and families :)

Maintenance never responds to emails. Never came to fix leaking toilet or broken shower doors that needed to be fixed ourselves. I don't think they hire anyone to clean the apartment before anyone moves in, and makes the previous tenant clean it. Surprise, they don't do a good job of cleaning because the walls were sticky, and the floor turned my socks completely black and glossy(ew). They promised to replace the sink before we moved in because it was cracked, and they didn't do that either. BTW, if you're moving in, make sure to check that the stovetop vent is actually connected, because I found out later on that it's actually blocked off and was just blowing the air straight to my face. I have been a tenant here for about 2.5 years and I can most definitely say that things have been changing, and for the better. Previous management was unresponsive, slow, and indifferent, while current management has already solved many issues left behind by previous management. It’s nice to see management treat their tenants with respect, something I haven’t experienced with previous landlords.
