Boyd Management & Development

I live in Steeplechase Apartments. I have been here faithfully for 6years. These apartments has not been renovated since 1974. The counter tops are the only thing they have changed. As a tenant paying faithfully every month should have a carpet cleaning every year to two years. NEVER has been done. Repainting NEVER has been done. RENOVATIONS NEEDS TO BE DONE! However, quick to build another new apartment complex and not using that money to consider the current apartments who needs it. I AM NOT RENEWING MY LEASE. The last 6years of poor management that I will have!

To begin, these properties are not going by the American disabilities act guidelines. I have now been discriminated two or three times by my property manager and by CAHEC (Boyd Management). My disability and all my doctors require me to be on a bottom floor unit. Which I asked for when signing my lease and was told that as soon as one opens I would be transferred into it…. I was told by tenant who knew about my disability and knew that I needed to be on the bottom floor that they were moving out and there’s would be open, I was denied the bottom floor unit and told that I cannot move into that unit. Another bottom floor unit has now been opened and I’m still not moved into it it has been two months. Void management is the worst in every way possible you cannot ever get in touch with anyone

I record every time I call in. The operator for 803 number for boyd management, was absolutely disrespectful, she busted out laughing after over talking me and ask me did I contact the regional manager. I ask her how do I do that. She replied unfortunately you can’t I can forward your message. Please people these properties maybe affordable but the management at these properties are horrible. Westwood townhomes has caused me over a thousand dollars of non refundable fees where maintenance took forever to fix any issues, I currently have been trying to get them to fix another water leak that now my tile is pulling up and black mold is forming. It took almost two years for them to fix my ac unit that had me and my kids in hot 80 degree weather all summer and when ask to send someone. They se

District Manager is NEVER available to talk. They ALWAYS forward they messages to the Landlord. If I wanted to speak to the Landlord then I wouldn't have contacted the District Manager. Property is ALWAYS dirty .Washing Machines never work, laundry mat is always filthy filled with spider webs. Maintenance man only takes out trash but won't clean spider webs in laundry mat. Maintenance man spends more time sitting in his vehicle smoking cigarettes and watching females walk past his vehicle rather than clean up. Cameras don't work on the building they just there to scare people into thinking they work. Drugs being sold on the premises and Landlord claims she can't do anything unless she sees it but she is only there 2 days a week. Horrible company, horrible District Managers. THEY WANNA GO U

I gave one star because I can't leave it blank... Really and truly, they deserve negative stars. The site manager at Falls Park Apartments is rude and racist. When you call for maintenance, nobody answers or calls back. The only time you can get anyone to answer is when they happen to come to the Apartments. They don't fix problems the residents have until they have the Big bosses come by to inspect the property and still its half done. At one point, the site manager and maintenance guy were accused of stealing from the units. Also, the Drug deal that happen and drunk tenants at the childrens playground is ridiculous. Very dissatisfied with this company.
