Overall I used boomtown for a little over 6 years. From an overall perspective they are so/so. In the beginning it was OK since my property was marketed quickly and a tenant was found. The tenant was a good tenant who paid on time. After about 6 years or so the tenant decided to break their lease and buy a house. However when it came to a lease break fee boomtown will claim it for themselves. Another item to note is that sometimes pricing for repairs will be reasonable and other times not so much. For ex. I had a sump pump go bad which was only $300 (reasonable) but then when I had to replace my smoke detectors (3 smoke & 3 combo) I was charged $430 for handyman services which I think was overpriced. Boomtown has managed my property for a few years now and I’ve been pleased with their service! They’ve found quality, long-term tenants and have been caring and professional in all my interactions. Most recently, they’ve helped me save thousands on a new HVAC. Grateful to have them looking out for me!!

The Boomtown staff are all very kind and helpful, and are always quick to reply when I reach out regarding my rental. They also have good maintenance contractors that are very professional and friendly. I have enjoyed renting with Boomtown so far.

I am a property owner and have to submit a 1 star review here after three years of utilizing Boomtown. Owners should not pursue the model Boomtown uses which is where the property manager charges a monthly fee regardless of whether a new tenant takes residence. In addition to the monthly fee you will pay a tenant discovery fee. As an owner, you are just wasting money with this model. Instead, pursue a property manager where you pay ONLY a tenant discovery fee. Most of these types of property managers will STILL assist you with finding contractors since they care about maintaining relationship with you for subsequent business (next tenant and so on). By following the preferred model you will also avoid price gouging by the contractors that are in bed with Boomtown. Additionally, Boom

Katie was absolutely wonderful to work with, answered all my questions and was so helpful, patient, and understanding. She explained everything, sent all the details, and always responded quickly.
