DO NOT APPLY TO THIS SCAM. We applied more than a month ago to a unit in Kalo pl. we’ve reached out several times, they claim that they’re still working on the applications. They’re not! They prey on people’s application fees and then don’t say a word to you ever again. The unit we applied for is still on the market, that makes no sense. They’re either discriminating or taking your application fee for a “background check”.

I have been renting from Bob Tanaka Realty for 18 years. This means three separate units during the course of that time. I am shocked at the negative reviews, as I have rented from both Lori and Alan and have found them both to be courteous and professional. If you have any doubt, consider the owner of my current unit switched to a different property management firm, and was so appalled by the downgrade, they switched back to Bob Tanaka in a single year. I applaud that decision since the other firm was horrible, and much less responsive.

Alan has been incredibly helpful. I had to go to the ER awhile back and left my keys inside the apartment. Alan met me on his day off and gave me his key to the unit, asked about my health, and was incredibly considerate. He's answered every question I've had, and has been extremely lenient on me with timing when I've needed to sign something since I work a lot. I'm very happy with this company.

Terrible communucation and service. Feels like a scam more than anything. Felt discrimated against as well. Save yourself your time and money and go somewhere else.

Careful vetting, knowledgeable, experienced, straightforward. The negative reviews are very surprising. We've worked with Bob, Lori, and Alan for years and they're consistently professional, skilled, and very effective in a wide range of properties state-wide. We've bought, sold, referred friends, you name it, over the years. They've been great!
