Mr. Cooke was rude, dismissive, inflexible and extremely unprofessional in dealing with a recent offer my husband and I made at one of his listings. Rather than counter-offering, he ignored our realtor's request for a response, then dismissively texted that he was 'offended', and then hung up on him when our realtor called for clarification. We would have absolutely been willing to negotiate or hear his counter-offer, or even accept his reasoning for not wanting to take on a contingency offer (as ours was...) We will certainly never make an offer an any of his properties from here on out. There's just no excuse for being this discourteous and bad-mannered. Even in a 'seller's market.'
