Customer Reviews
Blue Canopy Realty has been an amazing partner for myself and my family. We have a portfolio of investment properties that they help manage and take care of all communication with our tenants in a respectful and professional manner. I’ve had the opportunity to close on numerous sales and purchases of properties the last couple of years and the experience I’ve had with Megan and Joe are outstanding. If you need a professional realtor to sell your home, purchase your next property, or manage a portfolio of investments, I could not recommend Blue Canopy’s team enough. Thank you guys for your work and dedication!
Wonderful Experience. Joe is an Amazing Owner. Very Knowledgeable & Skilled at his Craft. We had the pleasure of working with Joe & Jennifer, both worked extremely hard to find us our dream home. They were extremely accommodating to our needs via zoom which saved us a lot of time. The whole process seemed to easy but in all honesty they were just so good at their job. Any issue that came up they helped us work through it without extra stress. We closed today and we are super happy for choosing Blue Canopy Realty.
Kept $900 of our deposit for too many holes in wall from hanging TV and pictures. Called multiple times and cannot get anyone to return call or pick up phone. When we moved in we specifically asked Joe about hanging TVs and pictures and he said no problem. They hired someone to patch holes and apparently that cost somehow is unusual damage to home that caused them to justify keeping most of our deposit. Poor communication and questionable business practices left us no choice but to leave a poor review. It appears they are taking advantage of college students. Just needed a phone call to me and this miscommunication might have been avoided. We reached out multiple times and left voice messages. No return call.
DO NOT LEASE IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE STUDENT. Make sure you get everything that is communicated in writing on the lease. If you speak to them, they will not own up to their own words. The lease clearly stated unusual damage to property will not allow for return of deposit. When I was touring a home with this company, they said I was allowed to mount things in every room of the house, such as pictures, TVs, etc., I lived in one of their houses for two years with two of my college roommates and we treated the house with great care and respect. However, when we moved out, they decided to keep most of our deposit because of the holes that were in the wall from a result of mounting pictures. I have never had bad experiences with security deposits or landlords in the past, and I lived in three diff
I’ve moved over 20 times in my life, can easily say Blue Canopy and Andy Chen made the forced removal from my home the most unnecessarily traumatic, cruel, and shocking of them all. A review posting can’t encompass all of the seemingly illegal events so here’s an intro for both entities: 35% instant rent increase upon Andy’s purchase, no-warning intimidation drop-ins when I wouldn’t agree to their terms quick enough, threatening texts/voicemails AND hostile video message from Megan, hundreds in fines/charges that I didn’t cause/couldn’t help/or didn’t exist… this could go on for days. But it doesn’t matter. The best property attorneys around explained the extent of “landlord-friendly states” like AR, the VAST list of laws/codes/rights & rules that protect both of them, and how little to no
