Block Belmont Apartments

It has been a few months since my partner and I moved in, and we love the place! The layout is spacious and comfortable, making it feel very homey. The location is incredibly convenient, near grocery stores, Target, and Starbucks are all nearby, which makes running errands easy. The property management team is easy to work with, always responsive, and helpful whenever I have questions or minor maintenance requests. The value for what we're paying versus the amenities and overall quality is really good. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to live!

Amazing staff members! The manager communicates well and is very understanding. I absolutely love living in these apartments, they’re very spacious and comfortable. They allow dogs and cats, and I am definitely grateful that they give us an assigned parking space.

Charging high rates for sub large service. People choosing to live here are being scammed out of their money when you can just go live downtown or in the burbs by a metra stop for less and with actual amenities.

First and foremost, you never really know who’s in charge or who you can go to with the management always changing every couple of months. Management seemed to pass on service calls to their “maintenance crew”. When we moved into Belmont Block, the maintenance guy came once or twice and then seemed to no longer be with the team and then it was all downhill from there. No legitimate maintenance. Now this is an ongoing issue throughout the building, as when I talked to several different neighbors, they said they experience the same issues with the maintenance and management in place. Be careful if you plan on trying to use the balcony as there is a MAJOR pigeon problem and many neighbors had grills and patio furniture ruined by the pigeons. Reposting this since my previous review was deleted by management (who knows if they will delete this again?) This is the worst place I’ve lived in for many reasons: - Management: There have been a handful of 4-5 property managers over the last year, all equally unhelpful. They are extremely unresponsive to any issues or requests - you have to follow up multiple times via email and phone calls to just get a hold of them. However, when it comes to lease renewal, that’s the only time when you hear from management quickly because they only care about $. Customer service is terrible. - Security: Ton of security issues in the building where front doors are constantly left open for non residents to enter, cameras not working, packages being stolen, etc. Management again, doesn’t do much to add
