Bickel's Home Inspections

I am sharing this to encourage potential clients to perform their own due diligence via the DBPR. Based on public licensing records, the Mold License (MRSA972) displayed on the company vehicle appears to be inactive and was originally issued to a different individual, now deceased Russell Bickel. Furthermore, I was unable to find active credentials for a Home Inspector or Contractor license registered to this individual or entity. If you have experienced financial loss or believe you have received unlicensed services, I recommend verifying these details yourself through the DBPR website and filing a formal report if the credentials do not match the services provided. This is intended as a recommendation for public caution based on available public record research.

The WORST inspection ever! What should have been a 2-3 hour (min) inspection, Tim completed in 45 minutes. Here is a list of items he “missed”! 1. Bad A/C fan motor, confirmed by my AC tech in Sept. 2. Electrical breakers upstairs keep “flipping off” every week when I vacuum & lights are “on”. 3. 2 electrical outlets in the spare bedroom Are “hot” but NO appliance works when plugged in. He did come back out but was in such a hurry that he was gone in less than 5 minutes after checking the outlets! Claims to have found nothing. 4. 3 faulty wired ceiling fans. 1 I replaced & he gave me a partial refund. Then made me sign a form that that was all he was responsible for. The prior homeowner confirmed to me that she KNEW all 3 ceiling fans were faulty. Turned “on/off” without being used, sparke

This contractor is NOT insured for the work he performs. I hired him to do drywall after Hurricane Milton caused water intrusion in my condo unit. His employee broke a fire sprinkler and caused hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage. His insurance company, in which he shared with me, denied the claim. To add insult to injury he has done nothing to compensated any of the four families for the damage his company caused to our homes.

Tim Bickel performed my 4 point inspection. He did not even go up in the attic which the insurance company required. Upon contacting him he just blew me off and would not return my phone call. I would not recommend this company.
