BH Property Management

I am so excited for the day my lease is up and I get to move from this horrible apartment building. The laundry facility is a joke, half of the machines do not work. Which unfortunately you will not know until you've paid for the cycle and the machine takes your money but doesn't do anything else. Management has received many calls from myself and other tenants but no action is taken. Half of the apartment will randomly just lose power. I'm in the middle of cooking in the kitchen when the power in the kitchen just goes out. I call the emergency line you're suppose to call when things like that happen and was told "it's hard for someone to come flip the breaker at 9pm at night." It's hard for me, a paying tenant, to randomly go without power for days at a time during the middle of winter. T

Horrible experience renting from this group of people. They do not like to fix the things that break in there apartment, called the health department bc i had black mold growing in my bathrooms, hallways and near my living room vents nothing got done. My central air/ heat did not work in 2/3 rooms in my apartment and they told me that was not part of my “rental agreement” to fix the central air and gave me a space heater for the heating problem…do not rent

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! The management team is very rude, unprofessional & LIARS!! The elevator breaks down every two days.. Me and my NEWBORN son got stuck on the elevator the first day he came home from the hospital, I called 911, the firefighters came and got us out.. I called them to tell them about my experience, they didn’t care and never bothered fixing the elevator since.. The building is dirty.. No one ever comes to clean it up, tenants are always leaving trash in the hallway, stairwell & elevator. There are stray cats all over the building. Every time you call them to send maintenance to the apartment for a job, they don’t come till weeks later and they do such a terrible job that you have to keep recalling them back to fix the same thing over and over again. If i could rate 0 stars I would. Power went out in half of our building (most importantly the kitchen where all of our food is) and there's no hot water since they're connected. Made a call and their employee was very rude about the whole situation, maybe she gets rude calls all day and decided to have an attitude with the next person. Instead of politely trying to explain the situation she rudely tells us to call Eversource because it's "not their problem". She asks if we put a work order in, when half the time we put one in, the issue isn't resolved until 2 weeks or a month later. She at first tried to claim Hartford was having outages but when Eversource gets to the property they quickly see the problem and start fixing the issue. 2024 Update: So, unfortunately for me in the rental crisis of 2024, I’m back as a tenant of this AWFUL company. Since they’re “under new management” I guess, in desperate times, I thought things would be better. Due to a changed pay period, I knew I was going to be late on rent for the first time in my life. I went in and scheduled the rent payment for the day I would be paid and obviously knew that would likely result in a late fee, fine. I read my lease when I signed it lol, no surprises. I get a call on the 10th letting me know that BH will be starting an eviction against me by the next morning….lol. I referred to my lease, CT rental laws, and my 5-years of administrative real estate work, and I’ve never heard of this nor seen any indication of it anywhere (like the call told me I woul
