I am giving a low rating because of a rat problem in the attached, underground garage of the Kennedy Warren, a building proudly managed and owned by BF Saul. I was assigned a parking spot on the same level as the building’s dumpster, which is also next to visitor parking, and later had rats cause damage to my car wiring. I am from outside of DC and was never warned of the known rat problem (known by both long-term residents and management) in the KW garage prior to parking there. If I had known there was an issue, I would have taken preventative measures. Rodent activity is a problem for resident health and safety and an expensive one when there is car damage. BF Saul has refused to offer any concessions to help pay for repairs, even though long-time residents have told me that they paid

Unethical landlords, rent as last resort Most people are attracted to Lyon Place because first, the location, and second, the perceived quality of construction and amenities when a prospective tenant takes a tour. To the first point, Clarendon has evolved a lot in the last 5 years and there are now numerous other options in close proximity to the metro station. Choose elsewhere. And to the second point, be weary, as the building is old and everything is falling apart. More on that in a bit. But the real reason you shouldn’t rent at Lyon Place is because of how they run their business practice. You see, in mid-September of 2021 I informed the building my intent to move out in the end of December. I told them I didn’t have a firm date as I was building a home and waiting to close but that I

This building has been fine until recently when a change in the security line up has come about. I have seen that they have employed some very young employees that are very disrespectful. They stand as the face to this building but do not greet with a smile. these younger guards seem to have issues answering questions and or just simple directions around the building. I have had one that has cussed in from of me and that spoken to a tenant employee with in a outright disrespectful manner.

For a Chuck Fil A, the service could be better and my breakfast sandwich was sloppy
