Bexley Plaza

Our experience here has been pleasant! We haven’t had any major issues. There has been some staff turnover over that was never really communicated, but whenever we’ve had a question or concern the staff has been pleasant and assisted us promptly. The complex is generally quiet. It feels safe and welcoming. The buildings are visibly older, but the apartment we are in has been well maintained. Our neighbors are friendly and look out for one another. It’s been comfortable being here.

I'm confident with Shawna as the newest Property Manager things can change around as she's firm, has experience and strict with policies here! These units are older and some are renovated. However, I'd say the price for the units here should be lower but rent is high everywhere which sucks. The previous property manager Tyquan did a very poor job for my move in (from what I'm hearing this was in general) and took over 2 hours to arrive with the keys and the lease. I ended up over paying my movers because of that! The communication for my move-in was horrible too and I never got to even look at the unit before moving... I had to rush to sign my lease because the movers were waiting so I didn't have time to accurately read everything and wasn't even given a copy at move in. Lots of mainte

The new manager (tyquan) is a scam, he lied about receiving the keys and tried to charge us for that. My roommate handed him the keys and he had sent him a confirmation to his email and i dropped the keys in the drop box, Luckily i made a video of dropping the keys. When my roommate confronted him he lied that he has never received the keys from him, I threatened to sue him and we showed him the evidence. Since this tyquan became the manager, this place has gone downhill, trash everywhere, cars parked on the lawn, weed smell, I think he even approves people with criminal backgrounds, because the people that live in this place now are not as good as the people that were living there in the past. I’ve lived at Bexley plaza for over three years and had many maintenance concerns. My apartment has flooded, leaked, ceiling collapsed and had sewage overflow. I’ve had to send numerous updates and examples of proof to get serious issues taken care of. Photos and videos of the situation were not met with any empathy. I felt they were pretty serious. My main issue is my bathroom ceiling has leaked and been repaired many times while I’ve lived here. They repair the ceiling (poorly) and don’t fully address the source of the leak until it inevitably leaks again. I sent service requests with photos, emails with videos, called, provided notice about the leak. There was no urgency on their part. I had to send many requests for updates to get resolution.
