My husband and I tried to purchase a home listed by Berkshire. It is a condominium listed at $84,900. Our appraisal came in at $75,000 and our seller would not accept the appraisal. We were not willing to pay thousands out of pocket above its worth. My husband and I lost out on $1,150 (on the inspection and appraisal) because of this deal not going through. Losing money is one thing but to see that Berkshire has listed the condo AGAIN at $84,900 putting other families at risk of losing money is beyond me! This is a condo, not some getaway vacation home on the beach! Listing it for $10,000 over its worth is ridiculous.
