Bentwood Apartments

I am writing this review to inform others of the treatment that I received from Bentwood Apartments. I lived at Bentwood apartments from March 2023-July 2023, and was treated poorly and harassed almost everyday during the time that I lived there. I was involved in a domestic violence situation that resulted in property damages and a criminal court case. I asked the office if the mandatory insurance covered anything since it was considered a burglary, but they stated quickly that I couldn’t use my policy. During that time, Bentwood began to quickly harass me for the funds, even though the police and myself explained that the individual was court obligated to repair it and even threatened to evict me multiple times. Been a Bentwood resident for (I think) 5 years now. I lease a 1 bedroom apartment and for me, it's the perfect space ! Getting older, living alone not fun, but the 1 bedroom is set up perfectly and doorways are "walker" friendly. Wheelchairs ? I also feel safe within my community and we are Pet Friendly. I'm not sure of current demographics, but I would suggest one important change in some apartments. Is it feasible to offer a walk-in shower in some units ? Just a thought :). Might end up being deal breaker on some current residents. Another plus is PARKING ! lots n lots. If you have a handicap placard, Leasing Mgr. Being from out of town, they have made my transition very easy. I was able to apply for my apartment online and even get my lease signed. I was in hurry when I came to move in and all we had to do exchange keys. Management makes it easy for us with a busy lifestyle. My favorite part about living here is that the apartments are single story and the community is super quiet!

I have lived here for going on 15 yrs...Management is great...but I would like to take this opportunity to give loads of thanks to our Maintenance Man John...we had a storm blow down some of our fence 2 days ago..John was "Johnny on the spot" he and Keith worked until 7PM putting the fence back up...this morning early he is already repairing sprinkler system and completing the fence...looking good...John is hard working and has always been there for tenants when needed from small maintenance to big ones...we appreciate John and wish him the very best for all his work and loyalty...

Somebody deletes the negative reviews for this place. Don't trust what you read, it's only 1/4 of the story. I would not be surprised if I found out that the positive reviews were for a rent or utility credit. Shame on Bentwood's owner.
